Well, well, well, it has been a long time indeed, friends, but yes it's true and not a lie. I am back I sincerely w-ish to thank all of you folks from throughout our beautiful county who have repeatedly asked me — “How come you don't write anymore" — for giving me the courage to give a try once again. I may not always provide you with all the news that is news but 1 do hope that I will be able to leave you with a smile on your face and a chuckle to pass along to your friends.
Mystery goat
spotted?
Speaking of things resurfacing, the often spotted but never captured mystery goat of Chester Gap has been sighted yet again. As you may recall he was seen all over the mountain the other year either wandering through backyards or eating flower beds.
This time local resident Martha Keys spotted the creature literally running down the road to her home just this past week here on the mountain While it made her wonder, just what she had seen for sure, her husband Jamie was able to put her fears to rest as he had seen the animal that same day too
One can only wonder when the History Channel’s crew from the show Monster Quest will show up to try and solve the case Some places get Bigfoot. some get the Loch Ness Monster and yet we get a goat that eats folk’s roses and hightails it out of here.
