The first serendipitous event leading to production of the play happened this summer, Egger said, when she and Dietlinde Turban-Maazel were discussing an arts camp for local Students to be held before Chateauville’s Second Annual Castleton Festival next summer.
The arts camp would precede the festival so that students’ work, including murals for Castleton Farm's network of pedestrian tunnels, would be seen by those attending the festival. with its performances by up-and-coming young musicians and singers from around the world, Egger said.
“1 mentioned that I would love to do a play, and Dietlinde just offered the Theatre House,” said Egger.
