By Roger Piantadosi Rappahannock Nows Staff Writer As anyone in real estate will tell you, there are three indicators of a property’s value: location, location, location.
So it seems to be with a proposed visitor center for the county. Where to put it has become the topic d’jour in emails and private strategizing - and will be at tomorrow’s meeting of a group called Tourism Partners made up of county businesses and representatives of tourist attractions.
They have been asked by the county Board of Supervisors to recommend a site for the visitor center. The group meets at 10 a.m. at the Washington Town Hall, a working meeting open to the public - though not meant as a public hearing. Rappahannock is in its infancy when it comes to promoting tourism.
