The “Importance of Being Earnest,” to be performed by county high school students Dec. 4-5 at 8 p.m. in Castleton, is a direct result of the importance of being cooperative.
“It’s really been a joyful community experience,” said Headwaters Foundation executive director Toni Egger, who is directing the Oscar Wilde play at the Chateauville Foundation’s Theatre House at the Maazels’ Castleton Farm. “I mean, it’s been incredible how all these things have come together.”
The play, Egger said, is a cooperative effort by Headwaters, which funds educational programs in Rappahannock’s schools, as well as Lorin and Dietlinde Maazel’s Chateauville organization and the Rappahannock Association for the Arts
