-Suggested—improvements f or the town of Woshington, Virginia that are being considered by the Council-elect for execution during their administration commencing September 7, 1950.
FIRST - Securing facilities for a Coummunity Center to promote youth and adult self improvement and recreation and to fulfill the needs and requirements of visitors who will be encouraged to visit the town.
SECOND - If possible, the town should own and operate for its own use and profit the Town Water System. “
THIRD - Proper care of and beautification of streets including town property and alleys and where necessary and possible sidewalks to be constructed. The encouragement of individual owners to exercise civic pride in the improvement of their property and removal of unsightly buildings.
