Funds Needed For County Nurse
The drive for the county health nurse in on!
Several substantial gifts have been promised, and with all donations it should be a matter of . . a few days before the sum of $500 is on hand to insure the health nurse for the county.
The reason for the rush to collect the funds is that the fiscal year began July 1 and the nurse should have been appointed by that time. Her work should be in progress now. The services of the county nurse will be needed this month and next in helping with pre-school clinics and the many other duties of a county nurse.
Call Miss Ruby Jenkins at the county agent’s office, Washington and notify her what your gift will be. She will tell you how 'the check should be made out, or how to make your contribution.
The paper next week will carry a report on the progress of the campaign and how much has been raised.
