Barter Theatre Schedule

The Barter Players will be at Luray (each week during July and ’August, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Curtain is at 8:15 p.m..

Schedule of plays is as follows: The Late Christopher Bean, July 13-15. Claudia, July 19-22. Arsenic and Old Lace, July 26-29. The Male Animal, August 2-5. Mrs. Moonlight, August 9-12 Personal Appearance, Aug. 16-19. Glass Menagerie, August 23-26.

Miss Rubj Jenkins, at the County Agent’s office, has several books of tickets for sale.

Washington Baptist

The Woman’s Missionary Society of t he Washington Baptist met at the church on Tuesday afternoon. Mrs. Susie Pullen conducted the program which was on the toptic, “The Hundred Years in Africa.’’ with Mrs. L. V. Merrill, Mrs. W. C. Campbell, and Mrs. John A. Keyser participating.

The WMS of the F. T. Baptist church met at the church Satur-* day afternoon, with Rev. A. Paul Thompson as guest speaker.

The Julia Haygood Missionary Circle of the Flint Hill Baptist church met at the home -of Mrs. Emory Russell Friday evening, with Mrs. Russell as program chairman. Eleven members were present and'one new member, Mrs. John McGee. _ „
