Five Home Demonstration clubs Were met by the Home Agent last week. The Huntly H.D. Club met at the home of Mrs. Henry Mills October 17 with Mrs. Louise Mills: serving as co-hostess. The United*' Nations Fiag was shown to the group and a short talk was given by the agent on .the United Nations Day. Yearly accomplishment sheets were filled out. Then a demonstration on “Ideas for making your own Christmas gifts were given out by the agent. The hostesses served delicious refreshments. ■'■■■■■■. *

A meeting of the Flint Hill H.D. c}ub was held at the home of Mrs. Carson Lillard October 17 at 7 :3fi p.m. Similar business was taken up at this meeting as was taken up at the Huntly H.D. club meeting. Mrs. Jessie Rowzie accompanied the home agent to the meeting and gave a demonstration on making Martha Washington candy. The agent demonstrated how to make minute fudge and Snowball DreaiA Candy. Besides all this candy that was made and delicious punch and cookies were served by the hostess.

Sperryville H.D. club met at the home of Mrs. Frances Lyne October 18. Accomplishment sheets were filled out by the members present. 'A demon atration on “Ideas for making your own Christmas Gifts” were given by . the agent.' •
