U.N. Program Presented
At Rapp'k High School
A very impressive dedication ceremony was held at Rappahannock County High School October 24, a day set aside all over the nation to present flags made by Home Demonstration and 4-H clubs to high schools.
The morning program was opened by Mrs. Gilbert Updike, who read a Scripture lesson and lead in a prayer for peace. Mrs. Jessie Rowzie presented the United Nations flag which .was displayed by Mrs. John Revercomb. Mrs. Mabel Racer gave a talk entitled “Something More About U.N. Day.” The Home Demonstration members who made the flag were Mrs. Joe Hitt, Mrs. Gilbert Updike, Miss Nellie Johnson, Mrs. Jessie Rowzie, and Miss Janet Sol- ' lenberger.
