LOU KEYSER CIRCLE MEETS
The Lou Keyser Circle of Washington Baptist church met Thursday evening, October 19, at 7 o’clock at the church.
A discussion of the subject of the month, “Behind the Iron Curtain,” was led by the president, Miss Mary Miller Wood. Other members p'resent were Mrs. Virginia Payne, Mrs. Dora Updike, Miss Ruby Jenkins, Miss Elizabeth Racer, and Miss Ethel Jenkins._

HOSTS AT BRIDGE
Mr. and Mrs. John McGehee entertained at bridge Thursday evening, having as their guests Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Moore, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Browning, Mr. and Mrs. G. W. Smith,- II. The first prize went to Mrs. W. A. Moore and Mrs. GJ. W. Smith was awarded the traveling prize.
