Marshall King attended the dance in Culpeper Friday night.
Miss' Mary Botts Miller left Tuesday for Harrisonburg, where she will attend the State Normal this session, she was accompanied as far as Front Royal by Mr. and Mrs. Miller and Mrs. C. J. Miller.
The State road force is tarring the streets of Washington, and' are giving us a good job.

Mr. and Mrs. John A. Browning were week-end visitors in Washington, D.C.
Mrs. Maude Gore is visiting relatives in North Carolina.
Messrs George W. Kinsey, Mason Stark, John F. Lillard and Master R. E. Miller spent a few days in Madison county this week.
