The marriage of Miss Barbara Ann Fincham, daughter of Mrs. Emily Mae Fincham and the late Willie Fincham, of Washington, and Luther Collis Fincham, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Fincham, of Washington, took place Saurday, October 21,' 1950, at 1 o’clock at the home of the Rev. A. Paul Thompson. Mrs. Elizabeth Fincham was her sister’s only attendant. - — - -
Crusade Of Freedom
Three minutes after 12 noon Tuesday the Bell of Freedom rang in Berlin, Germany, and the bells of the churches rang the world over. It was the Crusade of Freedom for the world. Mayor Dorothy Davis was chairman of the iRappahannock crusade. With the tolling of the hells the mayor and town council ended their campaign for the Crusade of Freedom.
VISITS AT TWINLAND
Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell had as their guest Satuiday night and Sunday Mrs. Edwina Herrin of Richmond, Mrs. Herren had come to visit her schoolmate, Mrs. C. J. Miller, but found on her arrival Mrs. Miller was visiting her son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. John Wood in Atlanta. Sunday afternoon Mrs. Herren and , Mr. and Mrs. Campbell wde guests of Mr. and Mrs.C. H. Whfe at Linden, and Mr. and Mrs. William Dudley at Front Royal.
