They believe that the chosen in Christ while yet dead in sins are unable to hear or believe the gospel <1. Cor. 2:14), and for this reason have never believed in foreign missions, Sunday School and other societies designed to lead souls to Christ, which are not authorized by the Scriptures. They believe that all, in all nations fon whom Christ died will be eternally saved.
They believe that much of the happiness of the children of God depends on the way they live; that they are under law to Christ which is parental law, being children of God, but that nothing shall sever that relationship or separate them finally from the love of God. (Rom. 8:35-39).
They do not believe that all the saved are in their church, bull that all who love God are born 'of God whether they have united with a Religious society or not.
Believing that the Bible gives us all we should do in the way of piactice they do not have instrumental music or Sunday School in their churches. They believe in spiritual worship and the organ detracts instead of adding to the spiritual part of song services. If it had been of spiritual benefit Christ and his apostles would have used them. Until the child has been quickened by grace they cannot understand the true teaching of the Scriptures. Teachers not qualified by the Spirit cannot give the proper meaning of the Bible. They believe that such teaching is responsible for the different beliefs or creeds of several hundred church organizations.
They believe in religious and** civil liberty and want the privilege to worship in the old fashion Bible way.
