Cook Books Go On Sale
Monday, October 30
“Rare Rappahannock Recipes," a revised publication of the cook book by the same name, put out by the ladies of Woodville Baptist church in 1928, will go on sale t Monday, October 30. The, price' of the new edition, published by the ladies of Woodville and Mt. Lebanon Baptist churches, is $1 per copy. i At Woodville, copies may be obtained at the borne of {Mrs. Ethel Johnson, next to the Baptist church, and the home of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson, across from the church.
At Sperryville the cook books will be on sale at James Atkins* store and at the Lee Highway hotel. .
At Washington books* may be purchased at Rappahannock News' office.
Additional places of sale will be announced later.
The books will be completed by Saturday afternoon but will go on sale Monday morning.

Historic P.T. church in the F.T. Valley of Rappahannock county, was the scene of a beautiful wedding ceremony on the afternoon of the ♦wenty-Arst of October, when Miss Elizabeth Jane Yowell, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Albon Waverley Yowell, became the bride of Thomas Edward Hall, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Edward Hall, of Heathsville.
The autumn color scheme of brilliant foliage and red berries of the dogwood tree with baskets of chrysanthemums, gold shading to rust, was carried out in the church decorations. The altar was lighted on either side by seven candles. , . . ,
