Mr. Charles F. Miller, of Cheyenne, Wyoming, another of Rappahannock’s absent sons, has sent f 10.00 to the Confederate Monument fund.
Miss Ida Compton, who is teaching in Page county, is on a visit to her parents in this county.
Mr. C. J. Yates has about completed his house he has been building on the Buck farm. It is a very handsome and convenient house, Mr. Yates planned it himself.
Mr. George Settle introduced the following bill to prohibit hogs from running at large in the county of Rappahannock. This Act shall take effect from and after the first day of July 1900.
