THIS & THAT

School once again is in full swing, and I forgone noticed some mighty happy faces going along the street Tuesday morning. We hate to get up. We hate,to go back to school, but some mighty big plans are being made by the children even at this early date. , School days, school days. Dear -old golden school days, reading afld writing and arithmetic. . . They were the good old days. Don’t we all wish twe were young again and the only worry in the world was school? i * ______

My h»t off to the all-lady gov-# ernment of Washington and of Rappahannock county. Of all the small towns we went through, which were plenty, none had one thing on us. W« noticed very few old homes, and none of the restfulness and peacr of our Rappahannock. Why is it folks are always in such a hurry? The views are beautiful in other parts of the country, but we have just as pretty. Can** understand why people have to leave home and travel for beauty when we have the best right here in Rappahannock.
