Mr. and Mrs. J .G. Revercomb and Mr. and Mrs. John R. Revercomb were visitors Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. W. F. Judd in Luray.
Sunday dinner guests pf the Misses Hitt at Sperryville were Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Montgomery of Alexandria, Rev. and Mrs. Norman J. Flythe and family of Flint Hill.
Mr. and Mrs. Charles Edward Long and Edward Long of Dallas, Texas, who had been visiting Mr. and Mrs. John Keyser, returned to their home Friday. Miss Frankie Keyser recently spent a day at Glen Eyrie.
Mr. and Mrs. Bill Whorton and daughter of Arlington spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Charlie Compton at Amissville. Miss Virginia Tapp iwas also a guest in the home during the afternoon.
Miss Louise Miller attended the iwedding Saturday evening of Miss Elizabeth French Roberts,, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Rufus G. Roberts, and John Wood II of Charlottesville. The wedding took place in St. Stephen’s Episcopal church, Culpeper, and the reception was held at “Brookside,” the home of the Hon. and Mrs. D. French Slaughter, uncle and aunt of the bride.
