MOVE TO WARRENTON

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Clater and their family, who have ma£e their home at Sperryville for ’ several years, moved last week to Warrenton where Mr. Clater has accepted a position as a federal guard at a government project located there.

IN MEMORIAM

In fond and loving remembrance of our dear mother, Mrs. Richard Racer, whom God called to Heaven nine years ago, September 3, 1942. . Mother dear, your name iwe love, ’Twas given you by God above. Although nine years you’ve been

away, We miss you more and more each

day. So gentle in manner, so patient

in pain; Our dear one left us for Heaven

to gain. With nature so gentle and actions

so kind. What a wonderful memory you

left behind.

Sometimes when our hearts grow

weary, Or our tasks seem very long, When our burdens look too heavy, Or we deem the right all wrong, Then we gain a fresh new courage As we rise to proudly say: Let us do our duty nobly, That was our Mother’s way.

Thus iwe keep her memory

precious, While we never cease to pray, That at last when lengthening

shadows Mark the evening o life’s day, They may find us waiting calmly To go our Mother’s way. ltc By her loving children.
