-^JOHN DAVIS LOSES THUMB IN SAWING ACCIDENT
While sawing: wood at the A. H. Buckner farm in the F. T. 'Valley yesterday, John Davis cut the thumb from his left hand. He was treated at the Hospital at Front Royal and returned to his home, “Hawthorne,” later in the day.
Mr. Davis, was using an electric saw to prepare some special pieces of lumber to be used in repair work at his home.
