The condition of Captain William Wiener, of Flint Hill, who was injured in a fall from a horse last week and is a patient at the Warren ‘Memorial hospital,. Front Royal, is reported to be very much better. Captain Wiener is expected to be well enough this week to .be taken to Walter Reed hospital for further treatment.

Through Mrs. A. M. Hickman, the Blue Ridge Music Festival Association has expressed thanks to all who helped .with the concerts during the first season.
Especial thanks have been given L. V. Merrill who helped with parking cars, supplying chairs, and innumerable other jobs in helping make the concerts a success.
