Compton Returns
To Florida for Winter
Ernest A. Compton, who spent the summer with his brother and sister, William E. and Miss Mar* garet Compton, returned to his home in Tampa, Fla., last Saturday. In mid-September he will be joined by his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Stanley F. Wade, of - Washington, D.C., and their young son.
Mr. Compton was born and reared in Rappahannock and was superintendent of the Stonega Coke and Coal Company at Big Stone Gap for several years previous to his departure for Florida. He is much improved in health and attributes his recovery to the bracing mountain air of Rappahannock.
