ATTEND BANKERS’ BANQUET
J. Rodes Brown Jr. and D. D. MiHer were among the one hundred bankers of the county, who attended the banquet given by the Directors of the Shenandoah Nat’l. Bank of Winchester Thursday 17, at the George Washington Hotel. H. B. McCormac, one of the directors gave a reception in his home preceding the banquet. The Shenandoah has recently been renovated’ and made one of the best equipped banks in the country. Harold G. Brown, formerly of Woodville and a former cashier of the Culpeper National and Rappahannock National Banks, is now president of the Shenandoah Nat’L Bank.
MISSIONARY MEETING
The Missionary Society of the Washington Baptist Church will meet Tuesday evening, May 6, at 2:30 p.m. at the church. Subject will be The Multitudes Need the Christain Home.
