A very refined lady at the Courthouse Monday was having trouble with hiccoughs. “Somebody frighten me, please,” she begged, "I’ve been hiccoughing, and L’ve tried holding my breath and I’ve tried drinking water but so far no cure. They say that a sudden fright will stop the hiccoughs.”
