“Aunt Susie Shoots the Works” is the title of the play that the Senior Class of the Carver Regional High School 'will present at the Carver High School auditorium on May 2, at 8 p.m. The play was written by Fred Caldwell and is feeing given by special arrangement with Samuel French, the in. ternational play publishers. This is not just the usual play that the average amateur society produces. It is, in fact, .a most extraordinary play, combining as it does all of the qualities of a thrilling mystery play and containing along with it a veritable tornado of laughs.
Mr. Caldwell has achieved a fine reputation as a writer of farce both in the professional and the amateur theatre.
The part of Aunt Susie will be played by Catherine Dennis and the rest of the cast includes Joy Herbert, Thelma Mickey, Polly Deane, Delos Shirley; Laura Dawson, Annette Lovell; Madame Zola, Ruth Phillips; Mrs. Edward Dunning (Cynthis), Mary M. Spead; Portia Lark, Julia Wanzer; Omar Graves, Richard Slaughter; La Salle Johnson, James Scott; Johnny Jtogers, Samuel Glasker; and Slick Conway, Wiliam Noakes.
