The ladies of the Lou Keyser Circle of Washington Baptist Church realized around $33 from the auction sale held April 26.
The third and fourth grades of the SperryviMe Elementary School gave a play, “Old MacDonald’s Farm,” Friday afternoon, April 25. The entire school and a number of patrons greatly enjoyed the antics of the animals. The play was drected by their teacher, Mrs. Kathleen Lawerence.
Mrs. W. C. Hall of Richmond is vsiting her step-father and mother, Mr. and: Mrs. Henry Miller, while her husband, Pvt. W. C. Hall is with the arined forces.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Marshall of Burke were week-end guests of Mrs. Marshall’s mother, Mrs. John Clark.
Dr. and Mrs. W. G. Pendleton are in Richmond this week visiting Mr. and Mrs. John A. Luttrell, while there Dr. Pendleton is attending the Clergy Convention at the Roslin House.
