Mrs. J. Walter Atkins, who is recovering from a fractured hip as a result of a fall early in January, has been confined to bed by an attack of influenza. Lhtest report is that ' her convalescence is satisfactory.

Dinner guests Saturday evening of Mr. and Mrs. John Davis at “Hawthorne” were Mr. aand Mrs. Eugene Wood.

Recent week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor Sr. were their daughters and son-in-law, Miss Joan Kelly Aylor, Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Cozzo and Robert Brown of Washington, D. C.

Col. and Mrs. Charles King, Mr. and Mrs. Wade H. 'Massie Jr., and Tom Massie were supper guests Saturday at the Hi-Wy in Front Royal.

On Tuesday, night Miss Joan Aylor, Miss Barbara Brown and Miss Elma Davis Bruce of Washington, D. C. motored to town for a short visit with their families.
