For the greatest efficiency at the lowest cost a spray program should make use of the spray materials that have the widest range for insect and disease control and which when used alone or in combination will carry the minimum of risk of injury to trees and fruits. The spray programs that are suggest in the 1952 Spray Bulletin have taken into consideration these factors.
