Miss Ruth C. Menefee and George Efferen of Washington spent the weekend with Mrs. Virginia Lewis. Mr. Efferen has recovered from a long illness which confined him to Garfield Hospital foT sometime following an attack of influenza while visiting in the Lewis home.

Rev. J. A. St. Clair of Roanoke was overnight guest of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson on Friday.

Supper guests of Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Johnson on Thursday were Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Carder of Fredericksburg, Misses Lillie and Nellie Johnson and Miss Bessie Carder.

Mrs. Allen Johnson, Miss Barbara Black, Mrs. Edward Cary, and daughter, Dorothy Bradshaw and son, William (were in Front Royal, Monday attending "the Madison College Glee Club at the Warren County High School. Mrs. Cary’s daughter, Miss Jo Ellen Worth is one of the soloists in the Glee Club.

Mr. and Mrs. Joseph H. Aylor and their two children, Joe and Ann Yates of Arlington arrived on Friday night for a weekend visit with Mrs. Della Howard at the Lee Highway Hotel.

Mrs. Lee Swindler, who underwent a major operation in Warren Memorial Hospital in Front Royal last Monday, is convalescing satisfactorialy and will return to her home this week. Memebrs of her family make daily visits to the hospital to be with her.

On Sunday, Mr. and Mrs. Upton Weakley were guests of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bhown and Mr. and Mrs. Audie Weaver.
