Two Hospitalized With Broken Bones
Miss Susan Schaefer of Sperryville, who is a student at Radford College, is a patient in the Radford Hospital with a broken ankle. Miss Schaefer sustained the injury while engaged in physical education activities. She expects to return to her dormitory this week and resume her studies. She is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer, Sperryville, who visited her during the weekend.
Miss Annie Stephenson of Woodville is a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital receiving treatment for a broken bone in her foot which she received in a fall at her home May 23.

Commencement exercises for the seventhgradeof Washington Elementary School will be held tonight, Thursday, June 3 at 8 p.m. at the school. Certificates of promotion will be presented by Mr. Irvin Kilby, member of the Rappahannock County School Board. The Rev. Charles F. Glaenzer will make an address to the graduates.
