Mr. and Mrs. Tom Winkler and daughter Kathy were in Richmond on Sunday and were the dinner guests of Mr. Winkler's sister Mrs. Edward Wright. Mrs. Chester Weaver is visiting her daughters Mrs. Roy Beck of Annandale who is in the Fairfax Hospital and Mrs. Bill Burke and Mr. Burke of Manassas; also her sisters Mrs. Julia Carver and Mrs. J. J. Casey and Dr. Casey, all of Alexandria. Edward Spencer of Culpeper and Edward Dorsey were Thursday dvernight guests of Edward Dorsey's parents Mr. and Mrs. Clarence B. Dorsey. Sunday Mr., and Mrs. Dorsey were in New Market to attend the Commencement exercises at the Academy. Their son Edward and Edward Spencer of Culpeper returned . home with them. Miss Carol Cobert entertained with a luncheon at her home on Friday Miss Sally Hermer, of Culpeper and Miss Ann McNamara of Falls Church. Both girls are classmates of Miss Cobert at Mary Washington College. Mis6 Cobert left Saturday for Ocean City, Md. for the summer.
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Lee Barfield and Debbie, Bob and Johnny of Berryville spent a three day week-end visiting Mr. Barfield's mother Mrs. Hazel Barfield and his great aunt Miss Alice Hitt.
