Mr. and Mrs. Robert Baker of New Salem are the parents of a son born May 24, 1965 at Culpeper Memorial Hospital. They have named the baby Dalton Edward. Grandparents of the baby are Mr. and Mrs. Paul Baker of Rapidan and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Dwyer of Culpeper. Mrs. Janie Aylor of Novum is the greatgrandmother. The family name was mistakenly given as Burke last week.
Charlottesville spent the holiday week-end with Mr. and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton. Week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. Lee Swindler were T/ Sgt. and Mrs. James E. Swindler and family of Manassas. Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers were guests on Sunday of their son and daughter-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Devers in Front Royal. Miss Diane Bruce is at the home of her parents Mr. and Mrs. Jack Bruce after completing the school year at Longwood College. She will return to Longwood for the summer session.
