Mr. and Mrs. E. N. Montague who attended a concert in New York City on the weekend spent the holiday in Montclair, N. J. with relatives. Mr. and Mrs. William Beck of Arlington who purchased the Hazel Mountain Cottage from E. N. Montague spent the weekend holiday there. Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Gossom and family of Falls Church were in town Monday and took Kitty Brown to Culpeper for a check of his broken wrist. His convalescence is reported to be normal. Miss Carolyn Brown and Mike Brown of Arlington spent the Memorial Day holiday with their parents Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Brown. Mrs. Catherine Brown had as guests for the wedk-end her son-in-law Ed Payne and her daughter. Miss Shirley Brown of Alexandria. Mr. and Mrs. William Morrow of Norfolk spent the weekend in Broad Hollow dividing their time visiting their brothers-in-law and sisters Mr. and Mrs. T. J. Pillar and Mr. and Mrs. Harry Love. Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor had with them for the holiday week-end their son and daughter Buddy Aylor and Miss Joan Aylor and grandson Joe Aylor, all of Arlington. Joe Aylor spent part of the holiday with his grandmother Mrs. Della Howard at the Lee Highway Hotel. Mrs. Lucile Reed of Baltimore arid E. B. Cary of Washington were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. H. H. Aylor. Miss Louise (Billie) Schwartz who lives in Richmond where she is employed was a guest Sunday and Monday at the Lee Highway Hotel. Mr. and Mrs. Douglas Cornell were at their country place Boulder Lodge for a holiday week-end. Mr. and Mrs. Lawrence Oden -of Sharpsburg, Md. spent the week-end in town with members of Mrs. Oden’s family. Guests during the past week of Mrs. J. Harvey Daily were Elder and Mrs. Frank McCarty of Linesburg, Calif., Mrs. Hazel Jenkins and son, Greg, Mrs. Florence Johnson of Woodville, Elder and Mrs. Hollie Redmon of Front Royal.
Mr. and Mrs. D. M. Dwyer had as their guests over the week-end their son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Daniel Keyser and two children of Winchester, Mrs. Ellis Payne and daughter and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Payne and daughter.
