Entertains at Bridge

Mrs. James Massie entertained members of the Flint Hill Bridge Club and additional guests Monday evening at her home on the Old Richmond Road. Her guests were Mrs. Emory Russell, Mrs. W. A. Moore, Jr., Mrs. G. W. Smith, Jr., Mrs. John S. Browning, Mrs. M. R. Bradford, Jr., Mrs. Joel Jenkins, Pvlrs. T. L. Eastham, Mrs. Paul Miller, Mrs. T. L. Massie, Mrs. W. L. Wake, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr., and Mrs. R. E. Wood. Prizes were given to Mrs. T. L. Massie, Mrs. Smith, Mrs. Moore and Mrs. Wake.

Hitts Given Surprise Housewarming

Mr. and Mrs. Campbell (Buster) Hitt were honored with a surprise housewarming last Friday evening at their home in Woodville. The Hitts have recently moved into their newly completed brick house. Hostesses for the party were Mrs. Burton Orange of Woodville, Mrs. Lawrence E. Perry and Mrs. Eugene Jenkins, Culpeper and Mrs. Cotton Dugan, Rapidan. About forty friends were present to shower the Hitts with gifts for their home and .enjoy refreshments of cake and punch. The party was a complete surprise to the Hitt family.
