John Daniel Deal
John Daniel Deal, 82, of Castleton, died Sunday, May 30, at his residence. He was a retired farmer and sawmiller, the son of the late John William Deal and the late Pocahontas Campbell Deal, and a native of Rappahannock County. He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Elbert Menefee and Mrs. Isaac Menefee, both of Boston, Va.; four sons, John William Deal, Roy Weston Deal, Clarence Olia Deal and Allie Clifton Deal, all of Castleton; 13 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
...... A funeral service was held Wednesday at 2 p. m. at Geest Funeral Chapel with the Rev.
John S. Farrar officiating. Interment was in Fairview Cemetery, Culpeper.
Pallbearers were Woodrow Coughlin, Lillard Settle, Linwood Pullen, Earl Jewell, Billy Menefee and Jesse Hawkins.

Mrs. Bernice Andes Roy of Sperryville died Monday, May 31, 1965 in the University of Virginia Hospital, Charlottesville.
A funeral service will be held Thursday (today) at I p.m. at Hopewell Baptist Church Sperryville, with the Rev. j’ A. Holmes conducting the last rites. Interment will be in Sperryville Cemetery.
