Owen Davit Sealock
Owen Davis Sealock of Flint Hill died Monday, May 31, 1965 at the Veterans Hospital in Roanoke. He would have been 51 years old June 4. Native of Rappahannock County, he was the son of the late Daniel Sealock and Flora Dulin Sealock, both of Rappahannock.
Mr. Sealock, a merchant and falrmer, was a member of the American Legion in Front Royal. He served in the l European, African and Middle Eastern theatres during World War II, and was awarded a serj vice medal with five bronze k Mta/
r Surviving Mr. Sealock is his wife, Mrs. Garland F. Sealock of Flint Hill. Other survivors are four sisters, Mrs. Claude Mills, Savage, Md., Mrs. Edward Fox and Mrs. Robert Krusher, both Front Royal, and Miss Marie Sealock, .Huntly; three brothers, Golden Sealock, Front Royal, Alfred Sealock, Chester Gap and Billy Sealock, Huntly. Also two half brothers, Leslie Sealock, Front Royal and Thomas Sealock, Savage, Maryland.
A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday (today) in the Masonic Cemetery, Washington, Va. with the Rev. Arnold Sorrells and the Rev. James B. Grimmer officiating
Pallbearers will be Dr. William Lynn, Dr. Edwin Eastham Stuart Vought, Aubrey North, Herbert Foster, Brue Wood, Joe Jenkins and John Vest. The family requests that in lieu of flowers a contribution be made to the cancer fund.
