Mrs. Ellen Strother Caines >f Culpeper died February 4, 966 at her residence. She vas a native of Culpeper, the vidow of Edwin Lewis Gaines ' ind the daughter of the late 1 rohn Roberts Strother and ’ /iola Victoria Payne. Survivors include two daugh:ers, Mrs. Helen Barrett of Culpeper and Miss Frances
