Mrs. Virgie Artkins is visit* ing her daughter and son-inlaw Mr. and Mrs. James BennetU'in Arlington. P. Lee Thornton, Jr. who recently enlisted in the army is now stationed at Fort Polk, La. Mrs. John Hudson of L.uray was a dinner guest on Saturjay of her aunts Mrs. Virginia Lewis and Miss Ruth Vlenefee. Mrs. Nelson Nethers who has seen a patient in the Univ?rsity of Virginia Hospital returned home on Sunday acrompanied by Mr. Nethers and Mrs. F. D. Coffey. Dinner guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs;. J. R. Devers were Mr. and Mrs. Buddy Jevers and family of Front Royal and Mr. and Mrs. Jimmy Wayland and children. Henry Brown who underwent surgery at the University of Virginia Hospital is now at the home of his brother-inlaw and sister Mr. and Mrs. A. R. Partlow in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wayland of Arlington were overnight guests on Saturday of Mr. and Mrs. J. Larle Wayland.

Mr. and Mrs. L. N. Montague spent the week-end in Washington, I). C. Mr. and Mrs. .Robert Johnson and children of Front Royal were callers on Sunfay of Mrs. Betsey Harrell.
