Mrs. Mamie Wrenn of Washington, D.C. is at the home of her sisters the Misses Essie and Lucy Estes called here Saturday of last week due to the serious' illness of Miss Essie Estes. Mrs. Bertie Lib Moffett, Mrs. W. H. Massie, Jr. and Miss Doris Daugherty were Sunday supper guests of Judge and Mrs. B. M. Miller.
B. R. COx and Mrs. George H. Davis visited Mrs. Cox Saturday in Staunton. Cil Davis visited her sister Miss Dorothy Taylor Davis at Madi son College in Harrisonburg. Miss Laura Fleming Melton of Haywood was the week-end guest of her brother-in-law and . sister Mr. and Mrs. Thomas B. Massie. Col. and Mrs. E. A. McNear of Vint Hill Station were at their farm Greenwood last weekend and until Tuesday due to the snow and again the past week-end. Mr. and Mrs. F. M. Baumgardner of Annandale spent Saturday at their home in Ha* ris Hollow. Dr. and Mrs. Howard Berger and Miss Dale Williams spent the week-end at the Berger’s home Clairmonte. Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell were visitors Monday in Culpeper. Mr. and Mrs. T. M. Johnston were in Charlottesville Friday and visited Mr. and Mrs. C. B. Tanner.
