At Orange 909E was observed ' to be little taller than the other hybrids tested. Local farmers reported its stalk height to be from 14-16 feet. 909E is a full season corn. Since all hybrids were harvested on the same date at a i given location, the earliest hy-' brids in the test are at a disadvantage with regards to quality and stalk breakage and some allowance should therefore be made for earlier maturing hybrids.
