Tractor and Pickup Truck Collide
A 66 Ford pickup and two farm tractors became involved in a traffic crash last Wednesday on Route 211 in Amifesville, according to Trooper K. L. Miller. William Edward Scott and his son William Robert Scott were attempting to start a farm tractor by pulling it with another one. As the tractors entered and crossed the highway a 66^ Ford pickup operated by Donald Lyle Rice of Luray struck one of them. The operator of the pickup applied his brakes on the snowy road when he came over the crest of a hill and saw the tractors but was unable to manuever around them. Both Scott and his son were charged with failing to yield the right of way, said the officer.
