County Agent W. H. Lyne attended a meeting at the John Marshall Hotel In Richmond this week. Sandy Graves of New York was a weekend guest of David Lyne at “Intervale.*! Trooper and Mrs. J. B. Willis and son Steve were guests on Friday night of Mr. and Mrs. Donald Gore. On Saturday the Willis’ were dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. R. M. Caton at Nokesville. Miss Shirley Brown of Bethesda, Md. was a weekend guest of her mother, Mrs. Catherine Brown. Mrs. John Eubank, who is a patient in Culpeper Memorial Hospital is expected toreturn home the last of the week. Warrant Officer and Mrs. P. Lee Thornton, III were luncheon guests on Thursday of Mr. and Mrs. J. Rodes Brown. Weekend guest at “Rock Villa" were Mr. and Mrs. Jack Brown and family of Hamilton. Mr. and Mrs. Larry Wayland and daughter, Kimberly of Arlington spent Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Earle Wayland. Warrant Officer Philip Lee Thornton, III left on the 13th from Dulles Airport for California and from there on to Vietnam. He was accompanied to the airport by Mrs. Thornton and his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Thornton. Mr. $nd Mrs. Buddy Devers and family and Mr. and Mrs. George Marchi and Dina March! of Front Royal were guests on Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. J. R. Devers. H. B. Winfrey who has been a surgical patient in the University of Virginia Hospital re turned home on Tuesday and is recovering satisfactorily. Miss Susan Schaefer of Radford College and Mrs. Gordon Payne of Madison were weekend guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred W. Schaefer. On Saturday Mrs. Payne and Miss Schaefer were luncheon guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Jacobs in Warrenton.
