Aldhiier, Jr., secretary, of the Democratic Senatorial District for the Twentieth Senatorial District of Virginia, comprising the Counties of Page, Rappahannock, Rockingham, Warren, and the City of Harrisonburg, hereby certify thart the foregoing is a true and correct copy of a resolution adopted by it at a meeting of suid committee held at Luray, Page County, Virginia, on the second day of February, 1967.
"Resolved that the nomination of the candidate of the Democratic Party for the office of senator for the Twentieth District of Virginia, comprised of the Counties dt Page, Rappahannock, Rockingham, Warren, and the City of Harrisonburg to be voted on in the general election to be held in said senatorial district on November 7, 1967, shall be by direct primary method and thnt a primary for the nomination of said democratic candidate for said office shall be held on July 11, 1967, pursuant to the provisions of state primany laws, and thnt all candidates for said office shall file^their declaration fo>r candidacy with Ralph J. Dnvis, chairman of the Democratic Senatorial District for the Twentieth District of Virginia for the Counties of Page, Rappahannock, Rockingham, Warren, nnd the City of Harrisonburg, at Lurny, Virginia at least 90 days before said primnry to he held on July 11, 1967, and thnt if not more than one candidate shnll file for snid position, he be declnred the democratic nominee of the party for the Senate of Virginia from the snid senatorial district.
