Mrs. T. B. Massle and sister Miss Laura Fleming Melton of Haywood and Mrs. W. H. Massie, jr. were in Winj cheater Saturday night and attended a performance of “The Sound of Music.* Mr. and Mrs. H. Magruder Keyser, jr. and two sons of Fairfax were visitors Saturday of Mrs. Henry M. Keyser. Mrs. L. J. Turner and Mrs. T. C. Lea were week-end guests of Mr. and Mrs. William S. Dewhirst and attended a performance of 'Gentle men Prefer Blondes” at the Mosque. They were accompanied by Mrs. Frank W. Spald ing who spent the week-end with her son Robert L. Massie, jr.
Mr. and Mr6. Kenneth Simp son and daughter Miss Polly Ann Simpson of Luray were Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs A. H. Keyser at The Oaks. Judge Rayner V. Snead attended the Virginia Bar Association Convention over the weekend at Williamsburg. He was accompanied by Mrs. Snead, Bill Snead and Mary Lib Snead who toured the exhibition buildings of Colonial Williamsburg. Capt. and Mrs. C. G. Reid left Wednesday on Capt. Reid’s ship the S. S. Brazil for South Africa on a six weeks tout: Mrs. Park Dickerson and daughter Lynne of Johnson, Vermont arrived Monday for a visit with her parents Mr. and Mrs. Geova. H. Davis, jr. at their home on Gay Street.
Mrs. C. G Reid left Wednes day for Arlington for a week’s stay with her son Joseph Reid and her three grandsons. Mrs, Joseph Reid will be in New York to meet her sister arriving from Athens, Greece. D. B. Cox entered Veterans Administration Hospital, in Washington, D. C. on Monday where he remained for treatment.
The Rev. and Mrs. Ray Williams were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. W. C. Campbell at Twinlands. Af ternoon callers were Dr. and Mrs. F. D. Whitworth and Mrs. G. V. Stewart of Front Royal.
