Upon returning, he was asked what he thought of the city. “I don’t really know,” he replied, “I couldn’t find the city for all the buildings." In the rush of modern living many fail to find wisdom in spite of the great advances in knowledge and technology. We overlook wisdom in our quest for knowledge. We think facts and figures make us wise, but not so. The Bible says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom." (Prov. 9:10) He finds true wisdom who discovers as did the Apostle Paul, “Christ, the power of God, and the wisdom of God." (I Cor. 1:24)
