About Delivery
| We have received numerous complaints, particularly from the metropolitan area, about slow delivery of this newspaper, or cases of subscribers not receiving it at all. Others complain of receiving no paper for a week and then receiving two weeks papers at the same time. Please check with your post office about your delivery. The Rappahannock News is mailed from here not later than 8 o’clock every Wednesday night; usually by six o'clock. We regret the delay, but the situation is beyond our control,

Banquet for Young People February 24
The Washington and Flint Hill Baptist Churches are sponsoring a banquet for the young people who are in the fifth through the twelfth grades. It will be held at the Hampton Inn on Friday, February 24, 1967 beginning at 7;00 p.m. There will be an admission fee of $1.00 for this. If you are interested in attending the banquet, you may purchase your ticket at the young people’s fellowship which will be held at the parsonage this Sunday, February 19 at 7;00 p.m. If you are unable to attend the fellowship on Sunday night, you may get a ticket at church on Sunday morning. Please see Miss Mary Miller Wood at Washing ton and Mrs. Ray Williams at Flint Hill for your tickets. You are encouraged to come to the fellowship Sunday night and also to the banquet on Feb. 24. A good time is in store for all.
• I Sue Slaughter Group Study Course
The Sue Slaughter Missionary Group will meet at Washington Baptist Church on Thursday, February 23 at 7:30 p.m. for a home mission study course. Books studied will be on Southern Baptist Mission work in the Great Lakes area. Classes will be provided for W.M.S. group, Y.W. A. group and G. A. group. There will be no class for Sunbeams. A film strip will be shown following the study of the books.
