deserving students of Rappahannock County who desire to obtain a higher education. They must be a bona fide resident of the county and students enrolled are to be accepted by colleges or universities ap proved by a Board of Directors of the fund. A maximum of $500 may be used by a student per college year. Directors are John S. Browning, T. Carlyle Lea, Mrs. M. Elizabeth Buntin, Dennis B. Wingfield, and Miss Luerena Zinn.
First Aid Course At Chester Gap
A first aid course will be sponsored by the Chester Gap Volunteer Fire Department and classes held at the fire hall there beginning Monday February 20 at 7 p.m. instructor for the course will be John Scott of Front Royal. — At the first meeting Monday night, plans will be made for the classes necessary to complete the course and dates and time announced. Anyone interested in taking this bene ficial course is invited to attend, and may register by calling Joe Williams at 6355903 or Hubert Gilkey, 6355472.
