Joe Priest of Front Royal spent the week-end with his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Williams. Bert, Kim and Kelly Jo Gilkey attended a party for the 6th birthday of Nancy McNeill at her home in Front Royal Saturday afternoon. Mrs. Bertha Williams and her uncle Andrew L. Williams visited Mr. and Mrs. Walter Frye in Winchester on Saturday.
Mr. and Mrs. Harry Elphinstone of Washington, D. C. spent the week-end at their home here. They had as their guest Spec. 4 Robert Mattingly of Fort Dix, New Jersey. The Rev. and Mrs. C. P. Palmore of Front Royal were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. David Williams. Miss Helen Cameron of Front Royal was a Sunday visitor of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Sealock. The Rev. and Mrs. Ralph Rasberry were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Ermand Morris. James Bolt of Washington, D. C. spent the week-end with his son-in-law and daughter Mr. and Mrs. Bradley Williams. . Mr. and Mrs. Granville Fox were visitors last Wednesday night of Mr. and Mrs. Eddie Fox and family. < Sunday visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Sam North were Mr. and Mrs. Jack North and family of the Beef Cattle Research Station, Mrs. Buster Mills and granddaughter, Tammy Harris of Route 522. Mr. and Mrs. Hubie Gilkey and family were recent visitors of Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie Wines and family on the Strasburg Road. Kenny Williams had the misfortune to fall on the ice last Thursday morning breaking his wrist. He was taken to Warren Memorial Hospital, where it was put in a cast.
