Dr. Dana B. Hamel, Director of the State Department of Community Colleges, will be a featured speaker at the Governor’s Regional Conference on Education at Madison College in HarrisonburgMarch 3. Dr. Hamel’s talk will deal with the new opportunities in education which community colleges will make possible for the youth of Virginia.
This conference, one of eight throughout the State covers a 15-county area which includes [Albemarle, Amherst, Augusta,
|Bath, Clarke, Frederick, -Greene, Highland, Madison, Nelson, Page, Rockbridge, !Rockingham, Shenandoah, and Warren. Gov. Mills E. Godwin, Jr. •will deliver the keynote address,
and several noted educators will participate in the program.
