Mr. and Mrs. Charlie M. Burke of Woodville celebrated their Fiftieth Wedding Anniversary Saturday when they were honored with open house from 2 to 5 p.m. at their! home. The party was arranged by their son and daughter-inlaw, Mr. and Mrs. Yager Burke of Clinton, Md. Mr. and Mrs. Burke were married May 16, 1917 at the Baptist parsonage in Woodville by the Rev. w. J. Reynolds. Both Mr. and Mrs.; Burke were reared in Rappa hannock County and have lived their fifty years of marriage in Rappahannock and Culpeper; counties. Their family consist ed of two children, Yager Burke, Clinton, Md. and Mrs. Raymond Coughlin, Culpeper. They have seven grandchil-j dren and seven great-grand-! children. Mr. Burke has beenj a farmer and a painter and! is now retired. Mrs. Burke had been a practical nurse for the past 25 years.
