Henry Gordon Wayland, 81, of Castleton, died Saturday, May 13, 1967 in the Blue Ridge Sanatorium, Charlottesville. H8 'was a native of Rappahannock County, a retired farmer the son of the late Richard Alpheus Wayland and the late Ceorgianna Johnson Wayland. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Bruce Wayland; five daughters, Mrs. William Wood of Las Cruces, N. M., Mrs. T. , W. McChpsney of Sandston, Mrs. Harry Imbach of Rockville, Md., and Mrs. Henry Blalock and Mrs. John Hyman, both of Silver Spbing, Md.; three sons, Henry Gordon Wayland, Jr. of Castleton Edward H. Wayland of Alexandria and Reginald B. Wayland of Annandale; one sister Mrs. Elizabeth Heckler of Highland Springs, and a brother Ralph Wayland of Ma nassas; twenty grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. A graveside funeral service was held Tuesday at 11 o’clock at Woodville Cemetery conducted by the Rev. B. Gale Titchenell, pastor of the Wood ville 'Baptist Church of which Mr. Wayland was a member and former deacon.
